Step 1: cut a 40cm long thread and fold in half. Feed the end into the hole of the gold bead. Mark the area covered by the bead.

Step 2: start to tie the Snake Knot from the marked position.

Step 3: make sure that the length of the knotted cord plus the width of bead equals to the circumference of your finger.

Step 4: slide the gold bead onto one end. Pass the same end through the beginning loop and then back through the gold bead. 

Pull the end until the bead slides onto the loop.

Secure the two ends by fastening a firm knot.

Finally, trim off the remaining cord ends and melt the cuts using lighter.
