European 8-in-2 chain maille-similar to the European 4-in-1 chain maille

Summary: Making a European 8-in-2 chain is almost the same as with the European 4-in-1 chain, but instead, you use double as much jumprings in each step.

If you have mastered the European 4-in-1 chain maille technique, you will certainly have no difficulty to construct the European 8-in-2 chain. Here we explain the procedure.

Instructions:

Step 1: Slide 8 silver jumprings onto a pink jumpring

Step 2: Make the fundamental part

1st, place the silver jumprings down as shown with four jumprings on each side.

2nd, insert another pink jumpring through the six silver jumprings.

3rd, put in two pink jumprings through the 4 silver jumprings on one side.

4th, add 4 silver jumprings to the 2 newly-added pink jumprings.

Step 3: Insert 2 pink jumprings through the 4 silver jumprings, two from the bottom column and two from the middle column. And then place 4 silver jumprings onto the newly-added 2 pink jumprings.
