Simple Tutorial on How to Make a Drop Pendant Necklace

Instruction on how to make drop pendant necklace:

Step 1: Make the first part of the drop pendant necklace

1st, Cut 120cm of 0.3mm tiger tail wire and bend the wire in half, thread the wire through a Tibetan style toggle & tbar (as shown in the picture) ;

2nd, Slide a 6mm purple crystal and 8 4mm white pearl beads;

3rd, Thread each end of the wire through a 4mm white pearl bead, slide one 4mm white bead on both sides, then thread the 2 ends through another one 4mm bead;

4th, Repeat to make 15 more 4 4mm beads combination like above steps.

Step 2: Make the main pattern of the pearl necklace

1st, Add one 6mm white pearl bead on each side of the wire after the 4mm pearl beads combination, then thread the wire through one 6mm pearl bead;

2nd, Continue to add 24 4 big pearl beads like arrangement before (as shown in the picture) .

3rd, Restart to add 15 4mm pearl beads arrangement.

4th, Slide 8 4mm white pearl beads and a purple crystal like the first start.

Step 3: Finish the basic pearl necklace pattern

1st, Add a round Tibetan style toggle & tbar, thread the ends of double wires, then cross the wire through the purple crystal;

2nd, Thread one end of the wires through the 8 4mm pearl beads and the next right outermost 4mm pearl bead;

3rd, Slide a 3mm yellow pearl bead, then thread the wire through the next 4mm white pearl bead(as shown in the picture) ;

4th, Continue to add yellow pearl beads and thread the wire to the next outermost 4mm pearl bead till the 4mm white beads combination end.

5th, Thread the other end of the wires through the 8 4mm pearl beads and the next left outermost 4mm white pearl bead, and slide 3mm deep blue pearl beads like the steps of sliding 3mm yellow beads before.

6th, Repeat the same steps to the other side (as shown in the picture) .

Step 4: Add the beads to the pearl necklace

1st, Cut a part of 0.3mm wire, thread the wire through the last one 4mm white pearl bead at the end of sliding yellow and blue deep pearl beads (as shown in the picture) ;

2nd, Slide 3 2mm golden seed beads, one 6mm purple crystal bead, 3 golden seed beads on the right side wire, then cross the wire through the following 6mm white pearl bead;

3rd, Slide 3 2mm golden seed beads on the left side of the wire and thread the wire through the purple crystal, then slide 3 more golden seed beads, then cross the wire through the 6mm pearl bead like before;

4th, Refer to the above steps to add more 2mm golden seed beads and 6mm purple crystal beads (as shown in the picture) .

Step 5: Make the rest part of the pearl necklace

1st, Thread one 3mm yellow pearl bead on the wire and cross the wire through the next 6mm pearl bead;

2nd, Repeat the same steps to add more 3mm yellow pearl beads on the wire (as shown in the picture) .

Step 6: Add drop charms to the pearl necklace

1st, Cut a piece of 0.3mm wire and thread the wire through the outermost the third 6mm pearl bead;

2nd, Slide 2 2mm Ceylon white beads, a 12x6mm glass bead drop charm, 2 2mm white beads from the right side, then cross the wire through the next 6mm pearl bead;

3rd, Refer to the above steps to add 8 more 2mm white seed beads and 12x6mm glass drop charms.

Step 7: Finish the drop pendant necklace

1st, Slide 6 2mm Ceylon white beads, then 2 18x13x3.5mm Indian red glass drop, thread the other end of the wire through 6 2mm beads;

2nd, Cross the wire through the right one 6mm pearl bead, refer to the step 6 to slide 2 2mm Ceylon white beads, a 12x6mm glass bead drop charm, 2 2mm white beads;

3rd, Repeat to add 9 12x6mm glass bead drop charms (as shown in the picture) .
