PandaHall Tutorial on How to Make a Wire Wrapped Tree Pendant for Home Decorating

To make this lovely home decoration, you need to be patient with the wires. It will take a while to shape the wires, but the finished work will show you it deserves your time.

Supplies needed to make this wire wrapped pendant:

8x6mm Dark Green Glass Beads
1.5mm Silver Aluminum Wire
0.5mm Silver Copper Wire
Silver Cross Chain
Side Cutting Pliers

How to make the tree pendant hanging decoration:

Step 1: Make the wire trunk of the tree

1st, cut four pieces of aluminum wires, both wires are about 80cm in length;
2nd, cut about 20cm of 0.5mm copper wire and wrap it to the middle of previous four aluminum wires, then bend the whole wire pattern in half;
3rd, cut about 30cm copper wire, keep wrapping it to the aluminum tree trunk like the last picture shows.

Step 2: Make the beaded wire tree branches

1st, separate 2 aluminum wires from the whole 8 aluminum wires, slide 2 green glass beads to the left wire, 3 green glass beads to the right wire, twist the wires to the shape of three branches;
2nd, keep separating aluminum wires and adding glass beads in the same way until all 8 branches are finished. Make sure there are 3 branches at the left side, 3 at the right side and 2 in the middle.

Step 3: Finish the wire wrapped tree pendant hanging décor

1st, keep wrapping the copper wire up through the tree branches, once all main branches are covered, cut off extra copper wire;
2nd, cut a proper length of twist chain and add the chain to the top loop of a middle tree branch.

The finished piece is very pretty, and just as you can see, it’s not so difficult to make it. You can make this tree pendant with your kids and change the beads to different colors, it must be very cute to have a set of threes hanging in the window.
