Valentine’s Day Project – How to Make a Hollow Heart Pendant Necklace with Chain Tassels

This chain tassel necklace is made with beads, chains and hollow heart pendant, and you can also make one, then send it to your friend as Valentine’s Day gift~ Isn’t it a good idea?

Supplies you’ll need in making the hollow heart pendant necklace:

8mm White Round Glass Pearl Beads
11x7.5mm Rice Acrylic Pearl Beads
8mm Crystal Red Faceted Glass Beads
6mm Crystal Red Faceted Abacus Glass Beads
4mm Platinum Round Spacer Beads
Tibetan Style Silver Flower Bead Caps
Platinum Lobster Claw Clasps
Silver Jump Rings
Platinum Cross Chains
4mm Silver Eye Pins
Flat Nose Pliers
Side Cutting Pliers
Round Nose Pliers

Instructions on how to make a beaded chain necklace:

Step 1: Make a basic beaded pattern

1st, slide a round pearl bead and a rice pearl bead to an eye pin respectively;
2nd, slide a spacer bead, a flower bead cap, an 8mm red glass bead, a flower bead cap and a spacer bead to an eye pin, then make a loop at the other end of the 3 eye pins;
3rd, make other 2 bead patterns with round and rice pearl bead and link the bead patterns together as pictured.

Step 2: Finish the beaded chain pattern

1st, make more such beaded chain patterns in step 1 till the length of it is suitable to you and attach a hollow heart pendant to middle of the beaded chain pattern;
2nd, attach a lobster clasp to one end of the beaded chain pattern while attach a jump ring to the other end of it.

Step 3: Add chain tassel to the necklace

1st, cut off several pieces of silver chain with l lengths and hang all of them with an eye pin;
2nd, make a loop at the other end of the eye pin and attach it with the heart pendant together.

Step 4: Finish the hollow heart pendant necklace

1st, open the hollow heart pendant and put about 4 red abacus glass beads to it;
2nd, close the heart pendant and then this chain tassel necklace is finished.
