Pandahall Christmas DIY - How to Make Felt Hanging Decorations for Christmas

As Christmas is approaching, you may need some Christmas to décor your house, and here I will show you handmade felt decorations for Christmas, you can make one yourself and hang it on the window.

Instructions on how to make felt decorations for Christmas:

Step 1: Make a basic Christmas tree

1st, tailor several Christmas tree fragmentary patterns, and sew them together to form a tree with needle and threads in different color as pictured;
2nd, sew some pearl beads in different color to the Christmas tree pattern;
3rd, tailor 2 pieces of brown felt patterns as pictured.

Step 2: Finish the felt Christmas tree

1st, sew the 2 pieces of brown felt together, put some cotton into the felt and seam the open part;
2nd, put the 2 pieces of Christmas tree felt together and sew the brown pattern together with them;
3rd, put some cotton onto the Christmas tree and seam the open part;
4th, tailor 2 pieces of cloud shapes with blue felt and 6 pieces of round shapes with felt in different colors.

Step 3: Make a felt balloon

1st, sew the 6 pieces of round felt shape onto the blue cloud with needle and threads in different colors;
2nd, sew some snowflake on the round shapes and a stem to each round shape with white threads;
3rd, sew the 2 pieces of blue felt cloud together, put some cotton into it and seam the open part.

Step 4: Make a bear head

1st, tailor 2 pieces of cup shape with orange felt, put some cotton in middle of it and sew them together;
2nd, tailor other 6 parts with felt ion different color as pictured;
3rd, sew the red and white felt patterns on to the orange felt and sew 2 black round beads onto it as eyes;
4th, sew a mouth on the bottom of the orange felt with black thread.

Step 5: Make a white felt snowman

1st, sew the 2 pieces of bear head together, put some cotton into it and seam the open part together with its body part;
2nd, tailor 4 pieces of orange feet and 2 pieces of toes and sew 2 feet and one toe together with cotton in it;
3rd, tailor 2 pieces of white felt snowman shapes and some pieces of felt fragments with black and orange felts;
4th, sew the fragments onto one piece of snowman felt as pictured.

Step 6: Finish the snowman

1st, sew a mouth on the snowman with needle and black thread;
2nd, cut 2 pieces of 20cm red threads and a piece of 30cm red ribbon;
3rd, sew the 2 pieces of snowman together with some cotton in it, and sew the red threads to bottom of the snowman while sew the red cotton to top of the head of it;
4th, cut 2 pieces of red felts and some pieces of fragments with red and green felt as pictured.

Step 7: Make a purple felt hat

1st, sew the 2 pieces of red felts together with some cotton in it and sew some green felt fragments on it;
2nd, make another small red pattern with red and green felts as pictured;
3rd, tailor 4 pieces of “Y” shapes with brown felt and sew each 2 pieces of brown felt together with cotton in it;
4th, cut 2 pieces of purple hat shapes and other fragments with red and green felts as pictured;
5th, sew the felt fragments on the hat.

Step 8: Decorate the hat with beads

1st, glue 3 red pearl beads onto the hat, and sew the 2 hat shapes together with cotton in it;
2nd, tailor 6 pieces of oval shapes with white and light yellow felts and sew them into 2 patterns as pictured.

Step 9: Add the ready patterns onto the snowman

1st, sew all the fragments together to form a snowman;
2nd, tailor 2 pieces of red felts, 4 pieces of 20cm red threads and “Merry Christmas.

Step 10: Finish the letters banner

1st, glue the letters onto a red felt pattern;
2nd, sew the 2 pieces of red felt patterns together with the 4 threads, fold the red patterns a little and glue them with glue gun.

Step 11: Make several felt leaves

1st, tailor 2 pieces of white felts and sew them together as pictured;
2nd, tailor 12 pieces of leaf shapes with green, light green and yellow felts, then sew the venation on a yellow leaf felt as pictured;
3rd, sew the 2 leaf shape together as a leaf and them make other leaves like this one.

Step 12: Make other fragments

1st, glue the 6 leaves as 2 parts as pictured and cut 12 pieces of round red felt;
2nd, sew 2 pieces of round red felt together with cotton in it;
3rd, make other 5 round patterns like the first one;
4th, glue the red banner on bottom of the snowman and add the Christmas tree, leaves, bear and balloon together with the snowman as pictured.

Step 13: Make some stockings and gloves

1st, tailor 2 pieces of stocking shapes with blue felt and other 2 felt fragments;
2nd, sew the 2 felt fragments onto one stocking shape and sew some figure one the stocking;
3rd, tailor 2 pieces of glove shapes with red felt and a white pattern, then sew the white patterns onto one glove shape and sew a snowflake on it.

Step 14: Make boy head shape and gift boxes

1st, tailor 2 pieces of face shapes and 2 pieces of hair shapes, the sew each hair with each face together;
2nd, tailor 4 pieces of felt fragments and sew the 2 small felts to a big one as cross;
3rd, cut a piece of red ribbon and glue it onto the cross.

Step 15: Make Christmas tree and snowflakes

1st, tailor 2 pieces of white bulb shapes and an orange fragment, then sew the fragment to one bulb and sew some figures on it;
2nd, sew all the fragments to a Christmas tree and add some pearl beads to it;
3rd, tailor 2 pieces of big white snowflakes and 2 pieces of small pink snowflakes and add each small one to each bog one.

Step 16: Add the ready felt fragments to the threads

1st, tailor 2 pieces of baby shapes and a bowknot shape, add the bowknot to a baby shape with a yellow bead on it and add 2 black beads as eyes;
2nd, sew some figures on one baby shape as pictured;
3rd, glue the ready fragments together with the red threads on bottom of the banner.

Step 17: Finish the hanging decorations for Christmas

Add some pom pom balls to the red threads as pictured, then the hanging decorations for Christmas is finished.
