Halloween Project – How to Make Wire Wrapped Bat Pendant Necklace with Black Beads

1MM Black Aluminum Wire

Instructions on how to make pendant necklace:

Step 1: Twist a basic wire pattern

1st, draw a “bat” shape on a piece of paper as pictured and cut a piece of black aluminum wire;
2nd, twist a wave with a small loop at each end with the aluminum wire;
3rd, cut a piece of aluminum wire again, and twist a “v” shape with 5 loops on it according to the outline.

Step 2: Add enough black glass beads to the aluminum wire

1st, cut a piece of black copper wire and wrap it to the 2 aluminum wires to combine them together;
2nd, add a bicone glass bead to the copper wire and continue to wrap it to the “bat” pattern;
3rd, add a round seed bead and a round glass bead to the copper wire;
4th, continue to add more other black beads to the “bat” till the end as pictured.

Step 3: Make several bead drop patterns

1st, slide a round glass bead to an eye pin and make a loop at the other end of it;
2nd, slide a drop glass bead to a headpin, make a loop at the other end of it and wrap it around the loop;
3rd, repeat above steps to make other more such bead patterns and combine each round bead pattern and drop bead pattern as one bead drop pattern.

Step 4: Finish the bat pendant necklace

1st, attach each bead drop pattern to the loop of the aluminum wire as pictured;
2nd, cut 2 pieces of cross chains, attach one end of them to the 2 sides of the bat pendant with jump rings;
3rd, attach a spring ring clasp and a jump ring to the other end of both chains.
