How to Make Cute Beading Aluminum Wire Wrapped Bird Ornament for Kids

Materials needed for the blue beading bird ornament:

1.5mm Silver Aluminum Wire
0.8mm Silver Copper Wire
0.5mm Silver Copper Wire
6mm Blue Round Jade Beads
4mm Blue Round Seed Beads
10mm Blue Round Crackle Glass Beads
10mm Black Faceted Glass Beads
8mm Deep Sky Blue Round Crackle Glass Beads
8mm Blue Round Crackle Glass Beads
Side Cutting Pliers
Flat Nose Pliers
Round Nose Pliers

Instructions on how to make the blue beading bird ornament:

Step 1: Prepare the base part of the aluminum wire wrapped bird

1st, trim off three pieces of silver aluminum wire with proper length, then twist the first strip aluminum wire like the showing picture;
2nd, add a 10mm black faceted glass bead on the second strip of aluminum wire and start to wrap it around the black glass bead two circles, then make a wave shape at it bottom.

Step 2: Make the outline of the aluminum wire wrapped bird

1st, twist one end of the third strip of aluminum wire three circles, the other end two circles like below;
2nd, combine the three strips of aluminum wire together forming a bird shape, then fix them with silver copper wire at its mouth, feet and tail.

Step 3: Start to wrap the aluminum wire bird with copper wire

1st, cut off a proper length of 0.8mm silver copper wire and wrap it around the mouth of the bird several times;
2nd, continue to wrap the copper wire around the body of the bird until it’s end, then trim off the excess copper wire.

Step 4: Start to add beads on the aluminum wire wrapped bird

1st, cut off a piece of 0.5mm silver copper wire and wrap it around the back of the bird several times;
2nd, slide six blue seed beads on the copper wire, then wrap it around the aluminum wire circle in the center part, please see the showing picture below, then wrap it around the circle one time;
3rd, add ten blue seed beads on the copper wire and wrap it on the aluminum wire on the opposite side.

Step 5: Finish the beading bird

1st, continue to slide blue seed beads six strips like the showing picture;
2nd, slide a 10mm blue crackle glass bead on the copper wire, then wrap it around the near aluminum wire circle;
3rd, continue to add other crackle glass beads and jade beads in the same ways, and please see their sequence on the showing picture;
4th, cut off the excess copper wire and make it neat.
