To get started, you will need:
Wood Knitting Loom
Red, Yellow and Green Yarn
Cotton Threads
Shuttles
Carding Plate
Scissors
Instructions on how to make knitting patterns for kids with wood knitting loom:
Step 1: Prepare the shuttles and yarn
1st, trim off three pieces of red, yellow and green yarn with proper length;
2nd, wrap the colorful yarn around the shuttles separately like below.
Step 2: Place and fix the cotton threads
1st, cut off a piece of cotton thread with proper length, then wrap it around the two side of the wood knitting loom, make sure it crosses the gap on both sides;
2nd, make a knot on one side of the loom;
3rd, press A down and put C close to B.
Step 3: Start to knit the patterns
1st, put one shuttle through the space between upper and lower cotton threads;
2nd, make the yarn on the shuttle cross the space between upper and lower cotton threads;
3rd, push the yarn to the right side of the knitting loom with carding plate;
4th, press B down and pull C back to B;
5th, after the red yarn is finished, put the shuttle with different color yarn on it through the space between upper and lower string again;
6th, repeat the procedures mentioned above several times, then, you grasp the method to use the machine and If you want a colorful piece of work, change shuttle at your own will.
