I love to wear jewelry in summer days since summer is the best time to show off my beauty. Today I decided to make a charming bracelet for summer, so I chose some blue and white beads to start my project. The details are listed below.
Supplies in making the blue and white woven bracelet:
6mm White Glass Pearl Beads
10mm White Glass Pearl Beads
10mm Blue Tube Beads
2mm Silver Brass Bead Spacers
0.3mm Tiger Wire
Iron Jump Rings
Iron Spring Clasp
Flat Nose Plier
Round Nose Plier
Instructions on making the beaded woven bracelet for summer
Step 1: Make the basic pattern
1st, cut a piece of 0.3mm tiger wire (about 70cm), slide a 6mm white pearl beads, a silver bead spacer, a blue tube bead and another 10mm white pearl bead in sequence;
2nd, cross both ends of the wire through the 2mm silver bead spacer and pearl bead and tighten up;
3rd, slide 3 silver bead spacers and 3 6mm white pearl beads alternatively as shown, plus a blue tube bead, then thread the wire through the beads that you just added and tighten up;
4th, now cross both ends of the wire through a 2mm bead spacer, a 10mm white pearl bead and a silver bead spacer again in sequence and tighten up;
5th, slide a 6mm white pearl bead, a 2mm bead spacer, a 6mm pearl bead, a blue tube bead and a silver bead spacer in sequence;
6th, thread the wire through along the beads that you just added and tighten up.
Step 2: Finish the whole woven bracelet patterns
1st, slide a 6mm white pearl bead, a 2mm silver bead spacer, a 6mm white pearl bead and a blue tube bead through the other wire;
2nd, thread the wire through along the beads and tighten up;
3rd, cross both wires through a 2mm silver bead spacer, a 10mm pearl bead and another 2mm bead spacer and tighten up;
4th, repeat above beading patterns all the way until you've beaded a proper length;
5th, thread the excessive wires through along the beads in case of slack, then trim off them in the end;
6th, attach several silver jump rings to one end of the bracelet as shown;
7th, thread a 6mm white pearl bead through a headpin, then twist a small hook;
8th, attach the pearl dangle to the jump ring, and a spring clasp to the other end of the bracelet cord and finish the whole woven bracelet.
I wear my bracelet on my wrist immediately after I finished it! Just love it!
I just can't help showing you more of it!
I love the colors matching, the materials that I've chosen, and the woven pattern I’ve adopted in this summer bracelet. It would be better to make this bracelet with cotton thread instead of tiger wire. Anyway, have a great try!
