How to Make a Felt Carnation Flower Bouquet for Mother's Day

Carnation is said to be an emblem of mother love and it has become a familiar part of Mother's Day observance. In this DIY project, I'll share a felt carnation flower bouquet with you. Now, let's see the simple instructions on how to make this felt carnation bouquet for Mother's Day.

Materials and tools needed in DIY the felt carnation flower bouquet:

6mm White Round Pearl Beads
Felt
0.5mm Silver Copper Wire
1.5mm Green Aluminum Wire
Scissor
Glue Gun
Needle
Sewing Thread
Diagonal Plier

Instructions on how to make the felt carnation flower bouquet:

Step 1: Make the first part of the felt carnation flower bouquet

1st, cut several pieces of circular pink felts (as shown in the picture);
2nd, fold one pink circular felt and fix the shape by sewing the bottom with needle and sewing thread. Repeat this step to make more such patterns.

Step 2: Make the second part of the felt carnation flower bouquet

1st, cut a star shaped green felt (as shown in the picture);
2nd, combine the pink patterns made in Step 1 together into a flower. Then, cut a part of 1.5mm green aluminum wire and combine it with the pink felt flower (as shown in the picture);
3rd, add the green star shape felt and use glue gun to glue it below the pink flower;
4th, refer to the above steps to make more such flowers (as shown in the picture).

Step 3: Make the rest part of the felt carnation flower bouquet

1st, cut two pieces of purple flower shaped felt (as shown in the picture);
2nd, cut a piece of 0.5mm silver copper wire. Then, thread a 6mm white round pearl bead to it. Fold it into half and fix the white pearl bead by wrapping the two copper wires;
3rd, combine the white pearl bead with one of the purple flower felt;
4th, refer to the above steps to make more such patterns;

5th, combine the flowers made above into a bouquet.
