Children's Day Craft – How to Make a Lovely Wire Wrapped and Beaded Rabbit

Wire wrapping skills are widely used in craft making. Today I made a simple but lovely wire wrapped and beaded rabbit ornament. The supplies are simple, and you just need to prepare copper wires and some jewelry beads to go. Let's see the detailed steps below.

Supplies in making the lovely wire wrapped rabbit ornament:

Spray Painted Acrylic Beads
10mm White Pearl Beads
Black Waxed Cord
Iron Jump Rings
Cord End Clasps
Lobster Clasp
0.5mm Copper Wire
Glue Gun
Scissors

Instructions on making the lovely wire wrapped and beaded rabbit ornament:

Step 1: Make the cute rabbit craft

1st, cut a piece of copper wire (about 25cm) and slide a 10mm white pearl bead to on it;
2nd, wrap one end of the wire and tie a bow with the copper wire as shown in the picture to shape the ears of the rabbit;
3rd, tie another bow with the wire below the pearl bead as shown, then thread the wire through a spray painted acrylic bead;
4th, tie a small bow below the acrylic bead and trim off the extra wire.

Step 2: Make the wax cord for hanging

1st, cut a piece of black waxed cord, then make an overhand tie with the cord ends;
2nd, insert and glue the cord ends in an iron cord ending tip;
3rd, add a lobster clasp by attaching a jump ring.

Step 3: Finish the lovely wire wrapped rabbit ornament

Tie the black waxed cord to the rabbit ornament and finish the whole DIY project.
