How to Make a Charming Red and Blue Glass Beaded Flower Brooch

3mm Yellow Pearl Beads

Instructions on making the glass beaded flower brooch:

Step 1: Bead the basic flower pattern

1st, cut a piece of tiger wire (about 70cm), slide a 6mm red faceted glass bead, a blue glass bead, a red glass bead and a 3mm yellow pearl bead in sequence;
2nd, cross the other end of the wire through the yellow pearl bead and tighten up;
3rd, slide a 3mm yellow pearl bead, a 6mm red glass bead and a blue glass bead through one wire (the right wire in the picture), then thread the wire backward through the 3mm yellow pearl bead that you just added and tighten the wire;
4th, continue to thread a 3mm pearl bead, a red glass bead and a blue glass bead on one wire, then thread the wire through the 3mm pearl bead and tighten the wire;
5th, repeat above procedures and make 4 more basic patterns, then cross both wires through a 3mm yellow pearl bead and tighten up.

Step 2: Bead the out layer for the flower

1st, thread the wire thread the red glass bead at each end respectively, then cross both wires through a blue glass bead and tighten;
2nd, slide 3 blue glass beads through one wire, then thread the wire backward through the blue glass bead on the original flower pattern and the first blue glass bead you just added and tighten up;
3rd, add 2 3mm yellow pearl beads to the wire that with the blue glass bead unit on, while a red glass bead and a blue glass bead to the other wire as pictured;
4th, thread the wire one the right through the red and blue glass beads and tighten up.

Step 3: Finish the glass beaded flower brooch design

1st, slide 2 blue glass beads through the wire, then thread the other wire (the left wire) thread the blue glass bead on the original flower pattern and the last blue glass bead you just slide and tighten;
2nd, thread one wire thread 2 yellow pearl beads while the other wire through a red and a blue glass beads, then cross the wire through the glass beads and tighten up (same with the 3rd procedure in step 2);
3rd, repeat the beading pattern until you finish the whole beaded flower design, then thread the wire along the beads in case of slack and finally trim off the wires;
4th, attach the red and blue glass beaded flower to the brass brooch finding with hot glue.
