Step1: Prepare strings for macrame wave bracelet

Decide the number of string you want to give your bracelet. In my project, I used 6 longer working ends and 1 shorter holding end;

Step2: Work the knots to make the wavy bracelet pattern

1st, bundle up seven string strands at 7cm long from beginning ends with an overhand knot;
2nd, pick out your holding end (Orange in my project), and spread rest 6 working ends on flat;
3rd, nip working end in your right hand. Take the first working end, next loop it around your index finger in clockwise;
4th, pass the working end through the loop;
5th, tighten the loop;
6th, do same processes for the rest 5 working ends in orders;
7th, turn the direction from right to left and keep working same processes.

Step3: Finish the wave macrame friendship bracelet

In the end, make one extra loop with each working ends to make the knots stay in place.

Step4: Design a closure for macrame wave bracelet

1st, cut off the excess holding string at both ends and fusion with lighter;
