Materials needed for the colorful button tree for kids:

15x2mm round 2-hole acrylic buttons
10x10x2mm heart 2-hole acrylic buttons
6x3mm golden half round cabochons
felt
scissors
glue gun

Step 1: Make the outline of the tree

1st, place a grey felt on the bottom and then trim off a brown felt as tree shape like below;
2nd, paste the brown felt tree on the grey felt with white glue.

Step 2: Add buttons on the felt

1st, add the round 2-hole buttons on the places as the showing picture below;
2nd, continue to add the heart buttons on beside the tree branches, please see the showing picture.

Step 3: Add the half round cabochons

1st, add some half round cabochons near the tree branches like below;
2nd, add five half round cabochons and two heart buttons on the right down side of the felt.
