st, pay attention to the comb teeth on the warp weft adjusting rod, place the rod under the strings in the middle position of the square knitting board;
nd, adjust the strings, and always make one string anchor in the comb teeth and the next one above the rod. Place the strings in and above the rod alternatively;
rd, now you've come to the important procedure: switch the adjusting rod, and you'll see the strings are arranged as the 2nd pictured shown, if not, try to adjust them, making sure the strings are placed in and above the rod alternatively;
th, shuttle the working yarn under all the strings above the rod (or all the odd-numbered strings) from left to right;
th, now it's turn to switch the rod in the opposite way, then you'll see the strings are placed in and above the rod alternatively, if not, adjust them;
th, shuttlecock the working yarn under all the strings above the rod (or all the even-numbered strings) from right to left;

th, you've knitted 2 rows of basic stitches so far. Tighten the cast on with a comb if you need;
th, keep going back and forth, shuttle the yarn under every string above the rod (or above every string in the comb teeth) until you get to the end of the loom. Then reverse direction, going back and shuttle the working yarn under all the strings above the rod;
th, keep repeating these steps until your work reaches the desired length. When you have finished the knitting stitches, use your pick tool to lift the bottom string on the each peg off, and gird them.
