Detailed Steps on Making a Blue and White Snowflake Large Pendent Necklace for Wedding

Many of my friends got married recently. So I was inspired and decided to make a necklace for wedding. Before making this snowflake pendent necklace, I chose some blue and transparent glass drop beads and pearl beads. Also, as a necklace for wedding, I added a heart link for this necklace. Now let's check the detailed steps.

Instructions on making the blue and white large beaded pendent necklace for wedding:

Step 1: Stitch a pearl necklace strand

1st, snip off a piece of 0.3mm tiger wire (about 100cm) and then slide a 6mm white pearl bead, a 8mm pearl bead and a 10mm pearl bead to the middle;
2nd, cross both ends of the wire through another 8mm white pearl bead and tighten;
3rd, thread the left wire through a 6mm white pearl bead while the right wire through a 10mm white pearl bead, then cross both wires through a 8mm pearl bead and tighten;
4th, repeat this beading pattern and stitch the necklace strand until it reached a proper length that fits you well.

Step 2: Finish the pearl necklace strand

1st, thread the excessive wires backward long the beads in order to fix the wires and finally trim off them;
2nd, thread a jump ring through each pearl bead on the strand end, and connect them with an iron heart link.

Step 3: Bead the basic unit of snowflake pattern

1st, snip off a piece of 0.3mm copper wire (about 75cm), slide a 6mm white pearl bead to the middle, then thread both wires through a 12x8mm pearl drop bead;
2nd, cross both wires through a 6mm white pearl bead this time and tighten up;
3rd, thread each wire through 4 6mm pearl beads and cross them through the 6mm pearl bead on the other end of the pearl drop bead as shown.

Step 4: Add glass drop beads

1st, thread one wire through a transparent glass drop bead and a bead pacer, then thread it backward through the glass drop bead and tighten;
2nd, thread the other wire through a blue glass bead and a bead spacer, then thread it backward through the blue glass drop bead and tighten;
3rd, thread each wire through the 6mm pearl bead beside them, and thread the transparent glass bead and spacer respectively;
4th, repeat the pattern and finish the blue and transparent glass drop bead layer.

Step 5: Add pearl and seed bead fringe

1st, separate the wires, thread the right wire in the picture through a bead spacer, a 8mm pearl and a spacer;
2nd, thread the wire through the next spacer on the top of the glass drop bead, then continue to thread a spacer, a pearl bead and a spacer again through the next spacer bead on the top of the glass drop bead;
3rd, repeat the procedures until finishing the pearl and seed bead fringe.

Step 6: Finish the beaded snowflake pendent

1st, thread one wire through a blue bugle bead, a 6mm white pearl bead and a pacer, then wrap and thread the wire backward through the pearl bead;
2nd, thread this wire through another blue bugle bead and then through the next pearl bead on the fringe;
3rd, thread the wire through a blue bugle bead, a 6mm white pearl bead and a seed bead again, and thread the wire backward through the pearl bead and the next pearl bead on the fringe;
4th, repeat this pattern and finish the last layer of the snowflake pattern.

Step 7: Finish the whole blue and white snowflake big beaded pendent necklace:

Snip off a short piece of copper wire, and tie the snowflake pendent to the necklace strand.
