Free Instructions on How to Make Japanese Flower Hair Ornaments with Pearl Beads

Materials needed to make the Japanese flower hair ornament for girls:

8mm white pearl beads
10mm white pearl beads
4cm white, pink and blue ribbons
2.5cm green dot ribbon
12mm pink pearl beads
felt
hair clip
needle nose pliers
side cutting pliers
round nose pliers
scissors
glue gun

Step 1: Make the heart of the flower

1st, cut several pieces of white, pink and blue ribbons whose shapes are square;
2nd, fold the square ribbons along diagonal line, then continue to fold at the middle;
3rd, paste the two sides at the bottom with glue gun, see the picture showing below.

Step 2: Finish the heart of the flower

1st, paste the 2 blue and 1 white ready ribbons together with glue gun, put the white ribbon in the center;
2nd, cut another bigger blue square ribbon, fold it along diagonal line, then continue to fold at the middle;
3rd, paste the two sides of the bigger blue ribbon at the bottom with glue gun;
4th, combine the 3 smaller ready ribbons with the bigger blue one.

Step 3: Make other petals of the flower

1st, cut two square ribbons with different sizes and colors;
2nd, fold the square ribbons along diagonal line, then continue to fold at the middle;
3rd, put the smaller ribbon on the bigger ribbon;
4th, paste the two sides at the bottom with glue gun, see the picture showing below;
5th, repeat the same way to make other petals, and then paste the petals around the heart of the flower.

Step 4: Add pearl beads

1st, cut another 4 blue square ribbons;
2nd, continue to fold them along diagonal line, then fold at the middle;
3rd paste the two sides at the bottom with glue gun;
4th, paste at the back of the blue ribbons and connect them at the right place, showing as the picture below;
5th, add the pearl beads on it.

Step 5: Finish the Japanese flower hair ornament

1st, cut a piece of yellow felt with proper size and paste on the back of the flower;
2nd, paste the hair clip on the felt with glue gun.
