How to Make a Beautiful Quilling Paper Flower Basket for Cards Step by Step

2.5mm Colorful Quilling Paper

Detailed instructions on how to make the quilling paper flower basket:

Step1: make a quilling paper basket base

1st, cut 11 pieces of 0.25mm yellow quilling paper (about 12mm), then roll each of them into round bead and stick the tail;
2nd, press the both ends to make petal-like shape one by one;
3rd, place them up and down and stick them together to a card board as shown in the picture;
4th, cut another piece of yellow quilling paper, and then stick the fringe of the basket.

Step 2: Add quilling leaves ornaments

1st, cut a piece of 20cm deep green quilling paper, then fold it into halves and then cut several pieces of short quilling papers( 5cm to 10cm);
2nd, fold the short quilling papers into halves respectively, then stick them to the proper positon of the main branch one by one;
3rd, stick the bottom of the leaf ornament to the right fringe of the basket;
4th, make another smaller leaf ornament and stick it to the card as pictured.

Step 3: Add green quilling paper flowers

1st, cut 10 pieces of 0.25mm green quilling paper (about 10mm) and roll them into round beads one by one;
2nd, press one end and shape them into cute petals as shown;
3rd, stick 5 green petals to the card above the basket on the left and another 4 petals together to the middle of the basket and the rest one petal to the right bottom of the basket as shown in the picture.

Step 4: Add some white flowers

1st, cut enough pieces of white quilling paper (2cm to 5cm), then stick the ends of them together to from a flower;
2nd, make 4 white flowers of different sizes and then stick them to the card.

Step 5: Add purple quilling paper flowers

1st, cut 10 pieces of 10mm purple quilling paper this time, then roll them into small beads and make petals in orders;
2nd, stick the purple petals to the basket and the card respectively.

Step 6: Add fluorescence green flowers

1st, cut enough pieces of fluorescence green quilling paper, and roll some of them into beads and shape into petals;
2nd, stick the round fluorescence green bead to the center of the white flowers;
3rd, stick 5 petals together on the surface of the deep green branches, and another 2 flowers to the side and top of the branches;
4th, cup 3 pieces of 8cm orange quilling paper and roll them into small beads and make them bud of the fluorescence green flowers respectively.

Step 7: Add orange quilling paper bead

1st, cut 12 pieces of orange quilling paper (about 15cm) and roll them into 10mm beads;
2nd, divide them into 3 groups and stick every 4 orange round beads together on the card shown.

Step 8: Finish the quilling paper flower basket

1st, cut 4 pieces of green quilling paper and fold then into leaves as you did in the premier step;
2nd, roll 3 red quilling paper beads and make them petals;
3rd, add the red petals ornaments on the card in the proper position and stick a 10mm white pearl bud to the orange flowers respectively.
