How to Make a New Year Quilling Paper Flower Wreath at Home

Instructions on how to make the New Year quilling paper flower wreath:

Step 1: Make a green quilling paper wreath

1st, cut a piece of 380x5mm green quilling paper. Then, use a rolling pen to roll it into a circular pattern (as shown in the picture). Then, use white glue fix the shape (as shown in the picture);
2nd, use tweezers to reshape the green circular pattern into a leaf shape (as shown in the picture);
3rd, refer to the above steps to make 11 more leafs. Then, use the white gun to combine the 12 green leafs into a circular shape.

Step 2: Decorate the green wreath with colorful quilling paper patterns

1st, refer to the above steps to make a blue circular pattern, an orange circular pattern, a green circular pattern, a yellow circular pattern, a red circular pattern, a small yellow circular pattern, a small white circular pattern and a small red circular pattern (as shown in the picture);
2nd, refer to the above steps to make an orange square pattern, a blue square pattern, a green square pattern, a red square pattern and a yellow square pattern (as shown in the picture);
3rd, cut a piece of 380x5mm white quilling paper and use glue gun to attach it onto the middle part of the red square pattern. Then, cut another piece of 380x5mm white quilling paper and use glue gun to attach it onto the middle part of the red square pattern (to make a cross) (as shown in the picture);
4th, refer to the above step to make a white cross onto the orange square pattern and the yellow square pattern respectively;
5th, use the white glue to attach the circular patterns and square patterns onto the green leaf wreath (as shown in the picture).

Step 3: Add drop beads

1st, cut a piece of 2mm yellow nylon thread. Then, add a 12mm red round brass bell pendant on one end and make a knot (as shown in the picture);
2nd, add a 12mm blue round brass bell pendant on one end and make a knot. Then, make a bow in the middle (as shown in the picture);
3rd, use the glue gun to attach the yellow bow onto the green leaf (as shown in the picture).
