How to Make a Red Flower Hair Tie with Chenille Stems

Yellow Chenille Stems
Bright Red Chenille Stems
Black Hair Tie

Step 1: Make a 5 petals flower

1st, cut a short red chenille stem and fold it in half, pinch the coincident point;
2nd, cross the 2 chenille stems and fold one of chenille stem upward as pictured;
3rd, repeat above steps to make other 4 petals, then tie them together to a flower with the other red chenille stem.

 

Step 2: Add flower core

Cut a piece of yellow chenille stem, roll one end to a bead, then put it into center of the red flower and tie them together firmly.

 

Step 3: Wrap the red flower with a black hair tie together.
