How to Make Aeolian Bell Hanging Ornaments with Beads

Aeolian bell is a beautiful hanging ornament for door and bedroom. In today's DIY project, I made a bead aeolian bell hanging ornament. The difficult part is making the bead hanging branches. Now, let's see the detail instructions on how to make the aeolian bell hanging ornaments with beads.

Materials and tools needed in DIY the bead aeolian bell ornaments:

13x6mm Clear Faceted Drop Beads
13x6mm Pink Faceted Drop Beads
14x10mm Green Faceted Abacus Beads
14x10mm Pink Faceted Abacus Beads
14x10mm Purple Faceted Abacus Beads
6mm Green Round Beads (G-N0120-38-6mm)
12x8mm Faceted Drop Glass Beads
1.5mm Green Aluminum Wire
12mm Green Organza Ribbon
0.3mm Golden Copper Wire

Instructions on how to make the bead aeolian bell ornaments:

Step 1: Make the top of the bead aeolian bell ornament

1st, cut a piece of 1.5mm green aluminum wire. Then, fold the green aluminum wire into half and twist the left and right green aluminum wires;
2nd, make a loop with the twisted green aluminum wire and combine the two ends together (as shown in the picture).

Step 2：Make bead branches

1st, cut a piece of 0.3mm golden copper wire and thread 13x6mm clear faceted drop bead to the middle of the golden copper wire. Then, fold the golden copper wire into half and twist the two copper wires (as shown in the picture);
2nd, fold the left copper wire and thread a 6mm green round bead to the folding part. Then, fix it by twisting the two copper wires on the two sides of the 6mm green round bead；
3rd, refer to the 2nd step to add a 6mm green round bead to the right copper wire;
4th, refer to the 2nd step to add a 14x10mm green faceted abacus bead on the two sides respectively;
5th, refer to the 2nd step to add a 14x10mm pink faceted abacus bead on the two sides respectively;
6th, refer to the 2nd step to add a 6mm green round bead on the two sides respectively;
7th, , refer to the 2nd step to add a 14x10mm green faceted abacus bead on the left side and a 6mm green round bead on the right side (as shown in the picture);
8th, refer to above steps to make more such bead branches.

Step 3: Combine the bead branches with the green loop

Combine the bead branches made in Step 2 with the green loop made in Step 1 one by one by wrapping the copper wire.

Step 4: Add green beads and green ribbon

1st, add 14x10mm green faceted abacus beads along the green loop by thread the green faceted abacus beads to the copper wire and wrapping the copper wires around the green aluminum wire loop. Then, cut the excess copper wires;
2nd, cut four equal pieces of 12mm green organza ribbon. Then, combine one end of the four green ribbons with the green aluminum wire loop one by one. Combine the other end of the four green ribbons together by making a knot on the top (as shown in the picture).
