How to Make a Wire Wrapped Multi Colored Statement Necklace

Aluminum wires are really widely used in jewelry making. With just aluminum wires available, you can still make many great jewelry designs. Today I took some 1.5mm colorful aluminum wires, and make this charming wire wrapped statement necklace. You will find it simple after reading my tutorial below.

Materials and tools needed in making the colorful wire wrapped statement necklace:

1.5mm Colorful Aluminum Wires
Side Cutting Plier
Round Nose Plier
Long Nose Plier

Instructions on making the colorful wire wrapped statement necklace:

Step 1: Make a basic aluminum wire circle

1st, Snip off a short gold aluminum wire(about 100cm), and fold in halves;
2nd, leave a circle and bride them and make a crock at the end.

Step 2: Make colorful wire wrapped ornaments

1st, snip off several pieces of colorful aluminum wires(20cm to 34cm) and wrap and roll each of them into snail circles as pictured;
2nd, wrap and tie each to the gold ring and tighten;



3rd, add the colorful wire wrapped ornaments one by one and finish the statement necklace.
