Summary: Here is a detailed tutorial on how to make a seed bead snowflake earrings with blue rhinestone. I believe that you will love it as much as me!
There are various beaded snowflake patterns on our website. Today I made a really beautiful snowflake pattern on a pair of earrings with blue rhinestone beads. This pair of snowflake earrings will definitely make your friends happy if you make them gift for friends. Let's see how I made this pair of snowflake earrings in the tutorial below.
Supplies in making the beaded snowflake earrings with blue rhinestone:
2mm Silver Seed Beads
6mm Blue Rhinestone Beads
14mm Blue Rhinestone Beads
0.3mm Tiger Wire
Silver Earring Hook
Jump Rings
Scissors
Long Nose Plier
Instructions in making the beaded snowflake earrings:
Step 1:Stitch a basic pattern
1st, snip off a long tiger wire(about 50cm), slide 4 seed beads on and then thread the ends through another see bead and tighten;
2nd, slide 4 seed beads again, then cross the wire through the original bead on cross and tighten;
3rd, slide 3 seed beads on a wire, then thread the wire through 2 seed beads at beside and tighten;
4th, repeat the process until you have finished 7 basic patterns.
Step 2: Stitch the snowflake pattern
1st, slide 3 seed beads, thread the wire through the 2 seed beads at beside;
2nd, repeat beading the pattern until you have finished the whole round patterns;
3rd, slide 5 seed beads on a wire, then thread the wire through the 3rd bead from beside;
4th, repeat the pattern above and bead the rest patterns until finally it looks like flower as shown in the picture.
Step 3: Wrap up the blue rhinestone bead
1st, put the blue rhinestone in the beaded flower pattern, then wrap up the flower petals by threading the wire through each petal top and tighten up;
2nd, slide 7 seed beads on a wire, then thread the wire through the seed bead in the first layer, then continue with about 8 seed beads, and thread wire through a seed bead in the first layer again;
3rd, repeat the process until you finally finish wrapping the blue rhinestone bead as the picture shows.
Step 4: Finish beading the snowflake pattern
1st, slide 9 seed beads, thread the wire backward through the 6th seed bead on wire, and then continue with another 6 seed beads. At last, thread the wire through the seed bead on the first wrapping layer and tighten up;
2nd, repeat above process to finish the rest flake patterns;
3rd,snip off a piece of 30cm wire, thread the ends along one of the flake pattern and stop at the 3rd seed bead on the flake, then thread 5 beads on and finally thread the wire through the 2nd bead on the wire, then plus a new seed bead, and thread the wire through the 3rd seed bead on the flake pattern sideward in the end;
4th, repeat the process and ultimately finish beading the snowflake pattern.
Step 5: Stitch a small snowflake pattern
1st, snip off a piece of 40cm wire, slide a seed bead to the middle, thread backward through and add a blue glass bead and then separate the wires by cross them through another seed bead;
2nd, slide 6 seed beads to cover the semi-circle, and plus 6 more seed beads to finish the other half and tighten up;
3rd, slide 5 seed beads, thread the wire backward through the 2nd bead, plus one seed bead and finally thread the wire through the seed bead on the circle;
4th, follow above process and finish stitching the snowflake pattern.
Step 6: Joint the frozen snowflake patterns
1st, slide a bead, thread the wire through the bead on the primary snowflake pattern, and plus one more seed bead, then thread the wire backward to form the same circle pattern;
2nd, joint the snowflakes and trim off the excessive wire.
Step 7: Attach earring hook
Attach the earring hook to the snowflake pendent with jump rings.
With efforts and patience, I worked out this delicate pair of frozen snowflake earrings! I just couldn't describe how beautiful it is!!
It seems that there are many steps in beading the snowflake patterns, but if you are quite familar with beading techniques, you will not think this pair of seed bead snowflake earrings with blue rhinestone hard to create. It is ok if you are fresh man, just try yourself and take a challenge if you love them!
