Christmas Day is the best time of the year when everyone comes back home. Putting up the Christmas tree and preparing gifts are what we usually do when Christmas is reaching. Today I made a special beaded Christmas craft as gift for friend. I believe you also want to own one after seeing the final piece. Follow me to see how to make this beaded ornament or Christmas!

6mm Red Faceted Glass Beads
6mm Transparent Glass Beads
4mm Red Faceted Glass Beads
2mm Green Seed Beads
6mm Red Pearl Beads
0.3mm Tiger Wire
0.3mm Copper wire

Instructions in making the beaded Christmas gift craft:

Step 1: Bead a small unit

1st, snip off a 80cm long tiger wire, and string 3 6mm transparent faceted glass beads, and then cross both ends through another 6mm transparent faceted bead;
2nd, add a 6mm red faceted bead on each wire and cross both wires through a 6mm transparent glass bead again;
3rd, bead another square pattern as you did in the 1st procedure.

Step 2: Bead more units

1st, thread the wire on the right through the glass bead at beside and add 3 more transparent glass beads;
2nd, thread the end through the transparent glass bead on the top in this wire and thread along the way to the last transparent bead on the bottom right;
3rd, slide a transparent glass bead and a 6mm red glass bead to the lower wire, then thread the wire upward through the transparent bead in the last unit;
4th, thread the wire along the way down to the transparent bead on the previous square pattern as shown in the picture;
5th, add 2 transparent glass beads on the wire, and thread upward through the transparent bead and make another square and tighten;

6th, repeat above procedures to bead 3 more patterns.

Step 3: Connect the ends

1st, slide 3 transparent beads on one wire and thread the wire along the bead to the bead in the right, and add a red bead, a transparent bead and a red bead again and thread the wire through to the bead in the right, and continue to thread the wire through the transparent bead on the top right and tighten;
2nd, bead the rest units as what you did in step 1.

Step 4: Bead the top and bottom surfaces

1st, slide 2 transparent beads, thread the wire through the 2 previous beads, and then add a red glass bead, a transparent bead and a red bead again this time;
2nd, thread the wire through the previous bead at sides and the first red bead, and then add a transparent glass bead, and finally thread the wire through the transparent bead on the fringe in previous step and add a transparent bead;
3rd, slide a red glass bead and a transparent bead and thread the wire through along the red bead on the fringe and the transparent bead in last unit, and continue to slide 2 transparent beads to bead the next unit in the same way;
4th, repeat above steps to bead the rest patterns to finish both surfaces.

Step 5: Add green seed bead adornment

1st, snip off a 50cm long copper wire, slide about 12 seed beads on one wire, and tie to the tiger wires when you reach at the conner;
2nd, continue to slide 20 seed beads to the wire, and tie the wire to the diagonal conner;
3rd, slide 12 seed beads and sketch another line along the fringe and do the same thing on the rest of the fringes;

4th,slide 12 green seed beads to each of the wire in the conner, and then cross the 4 wires through another green seed bead and wrap the wires and tighten.

Step 6: Add red and green glass bows

1st, slide 11 4mm red glass beads to one of the wire and another 11 4mm red glass beads to the wire in opposite direction;
2nd,devide the 4 wires into 2 sets, and slide 24 green seed beads to each set and then make a green bow;
3rd, slide 9 6mm pearl beads and shape it and trim off the extra wire.
