Hair Accessories for Christmas DIY on a Red and Green Ribbon Flower Hair Clip

I am always fascinated by colorful ribbon flower hair accessories, especially hair accessories in red and green. I was considering making some hair accessories for Christmas, thus I made this flower hair clip DIY in red and green! It is really easy to make it for me, and also I am sure that you will also find it easy even if for green hands.

Supplies in making the red and green ribbon flower hair clip for Christmas:

2.5cm Red Ribbon
2cm Red Stripe Ribbon
2.5cm Green Ribbon
2.5cm Light Green Ribbon
2.5cm Red Dot Ribbon
2cm White Ribbon
1cm Coffee Eiffel Tower Ribbon
Blue Rhinestone Flat Bead
Bare Hair Clip
Lighter
Glue Gun
Scissors

Instructions in making the red and green ribbon flower hair clip:

Step 1: Make a basic pattern

1st, prepare 2 2cm red ribbons (5cm in length), 2 short red dot ribbons (4cm in length) and 2 1cm light green ribbons (6cm in length);
2nd, stick the red dot ribbons in a cross shape as shown in the picture;
3rd, stick another cross with the 2 stripe ribbons, and then stagger and stick it with the primary red dot cross;
4th, add a green cross and stick as the last layer in line with the red dot ribbon cross.

Step 2: Add flower design

1st, cut 4 pieces of white ribbons, and make petals with each of them respectively, and finally stick them together to form a flower shape;
2nd, cut 4 pieces of green ribbons (longer than the white ones) and repeat the above process to make another green flower shape;
3rd, stick the flower patterns to the center of the basic pattern, make the white flower pattern stuck above the green one;



4th, cut 4 pieces of shorter red ribbons, and stick them into petals, and finally make a small flower pattern with them;
5th, stick the red flower in the center, and stick a blue rhinestone bud on it with glue gun.

Step 3: Finish the ribbon flower hair clip for Christmas

1st, cut a piece of the coffee Eiffel Tower ribbon (same length as that of the hair clip) and stick it to the surface of the hair clip;
2nd, stick the whole red and green ribbon flower pattern on the clip and finish it.

I wear it on my hair immediately after I finish it! It is so charming that I bet I will wear it every day!
