Pandahall's Free Tutorial on How to Make Beaded Flower Hair Comb

Depending on what you add to the bare hair combs, you can create decorative hair combs in various styles. Today I made a beaded flower hair comb with rhinestone and pearl decorated. Check out this lovely tutorial for inspiration!

Supplies needed in making this yellow beaded flower comb:

2mm Yellow Tube Seed Beads
Blue Rhinestone Round Bead
Half-drilled Pearl Beads
Brass Rhinestone Chain
Felt Paper
0.3mm Copper Wire
Bare Comb
Scissors
Glue Gun

Instructions in making the beaded flower hair comb:

Step 1：Make rhinestone bead

1st, prepare a small piece of blue felt paper, a blue rhinestone bead, a short brass rhinestone chain and a glue gun;
2nd, attach the rhinestone chain around the blue rhinestone bead with 2 layers as shown in the picture;
3rd, stick the rhinestone bead to the felt paper and shear the excess off.

Step 2: Bead a flower pattern

1st, snip off a short 0.3mm copper wire, and slide 22 yellow tube beads on and then twine the wires together;
2nd, continue to slide 24 yellow tube beads to one wire and make the second layer;
3rd, slide another 22 tube beads and make a petal. Repeat to copy 2 more petals;
4th, make another double layer petal as what you did in 1st process;
5th, repeat the whole process to bead another same flower pattern.

Step 3: Finish the beaded flower hair comb

1st, stick the flower patterns, and the rhinestone bead to the comb one by one in proper place as shown in the picture;
2nd, attach pearl bud to the each of beaded flowers;
3rd, snip off 2 short copper wires, and bead 2 3-petal patterns as step 2. Wrap the beaded petals to the 2 ends of the comb and trim off the wire and stick pearl bud to them.
