How to Make Christmas Ribbon Hair Clips with Pearl Beads

Christmas hair clips are not very different than regular hair clips. The main distinctive part lies in the color you choose for your design. Today, I'll use some ribbons, some red pearl beads, some green pearl beads and hair barrettes to DIY Christmas ribbon hair clips. Here is how to make the Christmas ribbon hair clips with pearl beads.

Materials and tools needed in DIY the Christmas ribbon hair clips:

4mm Red Pearl Beads
8mm Green Pearl Beads
Pink Grosgrain Ribbon
Green Grosgrain Ribbon
10mm Green Grosgrain Ribbon
Red and White Striped Ribbon
Iron Hair Barrette
White Sewing Thread
Stainless-Steel Scissor
Glue Gun

Instructions on how to make the Christmas ribbon hair clips:

Step 1: Make ribbon hair bow

1st, cut a piece of pink grosgrain ribbon and fold it (as shown in the picture). Then, cross the right pink ribbon through the loop of the top bow (as shown in the picture);
2nd, cut a piece of white sewing thread and wrap it around the middle part of the pink ribbon bow;

3rd, cut a piece of green heart dotted ribbon. Then, make a bow and add it onto the pink ribbon bow by wrapping the ribbon with white sewing thread;
4th, cut a piece of red and white striped ribbon and use glue gun to glue one end of the red and white striped ribbon onto the green ribbon bow. Then, use glue gun to make two crossed bow (as shown in the picture);
5th, cut a piece of 10mm green grosgrain ribbon and use glue gun to glue the green ribbon onto the crossed red and white ribbon bow(as shown in the picture).

Step 2: Add pearl beads and hair barrette

1st, add 8 8mm green pearl beads onto the ribbon;
2nd, add 7 4mm red pearl beads onto the ribbon and green pearl beads;

3rd, use glue gun to attach an iron hair barrette on the back of the ribbon.
