Christmas Angel Jewelry Design – How to Make a Beaded Angel in Red and Green

Christmas is the most important holiday of the year. Both kids and adults will make preparations for the happy day. Instead of buying stuffs from the stores, we suggest you to make some christmas home decor and jewelry at home, which is cost-efficient and meaningful! Today i will share with you how to make a beaded angel pendent necklace in red and green at home.

Supplies in the Christmas angel pendent necklace DIY:

Red Glass Beads
Green Glass Beads
Transparent Glass Beads
Iron Eyepins
Silver Cross Chain
12mm Yellow Pearl Bead
Tiger Wire
0.3mm Copper Wire
Scissors
Round Nose Plier
Long Nose Plier

Instructions in making the red and green angel pendent necklace:

Step 1：Bead the main body

1st, snip off a short tiger wire, slide 4 green beads on and cross the ends through the last bead and tighten;
2nd, slide a bead on each wire, then cross the wires through another green bead and tighten;
3rd, repeat the process to bead 2 more patterns and finally cross both wires through the first bead at top;



4th, slide a green bead and a red bead on a wire, then cross both wires through a green bead and tighten;
5th, slide a red bead, a green bead on the wire as shown in the picture and cross both wires again through a green bead and tighten;
6th, repeat the process until you have finished weaving the main body, trim off the excess.

Step 2: Make the rest of main body

1st, snip off a short wire and slide 5 green beads on and make a circle;
2nd, prepare a pearl bead, a headpin, a red round glass bead;
3rd, thread the finished main body, a pearl bead, a green circle and a red round bead through headpin in order, making a loop at the bottom;



4th, crock a short with to the headpin and slide 6 crystal beads, a red round bead and a green bead to each wire respectively;
5th, thread the wire backward through the red round bead and trim off the extra.

Step 3: Bead angel wings

1st, snip off a short wire, and insert the wire through the beads on the angel shoulder (as shown in the picture);
2nd, slide 9 crystal beads on a wire, plus a pearl seed bead and then thread backward through the last crystal bead, and continue with another 6 crystal beads;
3rd, repeat above process on the other wing;
4th, slide 10 crystal beads to each wire, and thread the wire backward through the first crystal bead;

Step 4: Stitch arms and legs

1st, slide 4 crystal beads on each wire respectively, plus a red bead and a green bead, making ends and trim off the extra wires.
2nd, snip off a short wire, insert it through the red beads at the bottom of main body, and start to slide 6 crystal beads, a red bead and a green bead on both wires;
3rd, hook a silver chain to finish the pendent necklace.
