Pandahall Jewelry - How to DIY a Beaded Star Brooch at Home

There are many beaded jewelry making ideas on Pandahall Learning Center. In this tutorial, I will show you how to DIY a beaded star brooch at home. You really need a DIY brooch to suit your pure color clothes. Follow my instructions and try to make one.

Materials and tools needed in the beaded star brooch:

Tiger Tail
6mm White Pearl Beads
2mm White Seed Beads
4mm Blue Pearl Beads

Instructions on how to make the beaded star brooch

Step 1: Make a beaded flower pattern

1st, cut off a piece of about 80cm tiger tail, string a blue oval bead and a white seed bead on it, then thread the right tiger tail across the blue oval bead;
2nd, repeat the steps to string another four blue oval beads and white seed beads to make a beaded flower pattern.

Step 2: String a circle of seed beads around the beaded flower pattern

1st, string 8 white seed beads on a tiger wire, then string the thread the tiger wire across the white seed bead on the beaded flower pattern;
2nd, repeat the steps to string a circle of seed beads around the beaded flower pattern.

Step 3: Add a beaded star to the center part

1st, string 8 white seed beads, a 4mm blue pearl bead and a white seed bead on a tiger wire, then thread the tiger wire across the blue bead and string 8 seed beads on the tiger wire;
2nd, thread the tiger wire across the seed bead on the beaded flower pattern, repeat the steps to add a beaded star to the center part.

Step 4 : Repeat the step 3 to add another beaded star.

Step 5: Add a brooch cabochon setting to the back of beaded part and add a 6mm white pearl bead to the middle part.

This is an ocean style DIY beaded brooch, it looks so nice and I will choose it to match my black T-shirt. You can also make one for yourself according to my instructions.
