Free Tutorial on How to Make an Elegant Beaded Hair Clip

This hair clip is made out of yellow beads. The pattern I adapted in the hair clip is a combination of flower and bow. Go ahead and learn how to make a beaded hair clip if you want to make hair clips.

Materials and tools needed in the craft:

Colorful Acrylic Beads
Hari Clip
Brass Spacer Beads
Glass Beads
Round Transparent Glass Beads
Tiger Tails
12mm Yellow Pearl Beads
Yellow Nylon Organza Ribbon
Scissors
Glue Gun

Instructions on making the beaded hair clip:

Step 1: Make the basic pattern

1st, prepare a tiger tail, slide beads in sequences as pictured;
2nd, thread the ends through a yellow glass bead and tighten to make a circle cord. Cut off the extra wires;
3rd, slide a yellow pearl bead to the new double wires, thread the four ends through the transparent beads respectively.

Step 2: Add additional patterns

1st, slide 2 space beads to each wire and cross the wires through a yellow acrylic bead;
2nd, continue sliding 4 space beads to the wires. Cross both wires through a space bead and tighten;
3rd, thread the wires through the yellow acrylic bead and a yellow glass bead respectively as pictured, slide 4 space beads again and thread the wire back to the yellow acrylic bead in the end.


4th, repeat the process above the make the pattern on the other side.

Step 3: Finish the pattern

1st, cross the wires through the yellow bead and 2 space bead as pictured and tighten;
2nd, do the same to finish the other side.

Step 4: Finish the beaded hair clip

1st, stick a yellow ribbon with a glue gun;
2nd, stick the beaded pattern to finish the hair clip.
