Tutorial on Making a Flower Brooch with Seed Beads and Pearl Beads

With seed beads and pearl beads, you can start today's beaded flower brooch easily. What's more, once you learn the simple technique you will be able to create as many crafts as you like in other seed bead flower patterns.

What will be needed in the DIY beaded flower brooch project:

6mm White Pearl Beads
2mm White Pearl Seed Beads
Flower Brass Brooches
Glass Facted Bicone Beads
2mm Pink Seed Beads
Tiger Tail
Scissors

How to make the beaded flower brooch?

Step 1: Make the first white petal

1st, prepare a long tiger tail, slide 8 white seed beads and fold the wire into halves;
2nd, cross the wires thread a seed bead, slide 8 beads to each wire and then cross the wires through 2 primal seed beads as pictured and tighten.

Step 2: Finish the 3 white petals

1st, continue sliding about 16 seed beads to both wires, cross the wires' ends through a seed bead and tighten;
2nd, repeat the process to make the other 2 petals;
3rd, wrap the wires up and add an 8mm pink pearl in the center.

Step 3: Make 6 pink petals

1st, make a basic pink petal as making white petals in step 1;
2nd, add about 12 pink beads to each wire and cross the wires through a seed bead to make a larger pink petal;
3rd, slide 7 glass beads and 7 seed beads alternately to a wire, wrap the petal and cross the wires through a glass bead, a seed bead and a glass bead in sequence and tighten;
4th, go ahead to make the other pink petals.

Step 4: Joint the petals

1st, wrap the wires up to joint pink petals;
2nd, insert the white petals to the center.

Step 5: Add a fringe to the flower

1st, prepare a long wire, slide 4 pink beads, a white bead, 3 pink beads and a glass bead in sequence as shown in the picture;
2nd, thread the wire to the beads to make a flower fringe ;
3nd, add a flower brass brooch to the bottom.
