A Detailed Tutorial on How to Make a Seed Bead Woven Bracelet

Weaving stitch is such a popular technique that is often used in making beaded bracelets. With seed beads, glass beads and wires prepared, I start my woven seed bead bracelet DIY.

How to make right angle weave stitch bracelet:

Step 1: Make the starting cord

1st, prepare 2 tiger tails (each about 45cm), thread them through a clasp and fold them in half;
2nd, thread 8 blue seed beads to the 2nd wire and 4th wire respectively, then cross the wires through a seed bead and tighten;
3rd, slide 6 beads to a wire, thread the wire back through the 3rd bead and tighten, repeat this process on the other wire;
4th, slide 3 beads in order, cross the wires through a seed bead and tighten them.

Step 2: Make the woven pattern

1st, slide 3 beads to both wires, cross the wires through a red crystal bead and tighten;
2nd, slide beads as above, cross the wires through a blue seed bead and tighten.

3rd, continue threading 6 seed beads to both wires, make the woven pattern as the procedure in step 1;
4th, repeat the process above to make another woven pattern as pictured.

Step 3: Make the bead strand fringes

1st, slide 6 seed beads to both wires at the bottom, thread the wires through a seed bead separately as shown in the picture;
2nd, continue making the remaining woven patterns and fringes.

Step 4: Finish the woven seed bead bracelet

1st, finish the remaining patterns and slide 8 seed beads to both wires, cross the wires through the clasp and tighten up, cut off the extra wires.

2nd, finish the bead strand fringe by threading the wires through a seed bead respectively (as shown in the picture) and tighten up, cut off the extra wires.
