How to Make a Surgeons Knot- Useful Knots for Bracelet Ending
Summary: Surgeon knots, a kind of practical knots derived from surgery, are commonly used as a basic fishing knot for bracelets, especially for elastic/ stretchy bracelets.
The making process of the surgeon knots is quite similar to granny knots, if you master this one, I am sure you can make granny knots.
Instructions on how to make a surgeons knot:
Step1: Put left cord strand over right one, forming an X;
Step2: Wrap the left around right twice;
Step3: Nip the two ends, forming a wavy pattern;
Step4:put right strand over left and make an overhand knot;
Step5: tighten strands.
The surgeon knot is done!
