How to Make Ladder Shaped Black Glass Bead Necklace Patterns with Round Gold Beads

Black and gold colors are always matched perfectly. In this video, I use black glass bugle beads and round gold beads to DIY this Ladder Shaped necklace. It is so unique and fashionable. Besides, it is a very simple beading pattern, so everyone can have a try.

To get started, you will need:

Black Glass Bugle Beads
4mm Gold Round Beads
Crimp Beads
Toggle Clasp
Tiger Tail
Wire Cutting Plier
Flat Plier

Step1: Cut down a 120cm tiger tail, fold it in half, thread a crimp bead and the toggle clasp to wire, thread the wire back through the crimp bead and tighten, pinch the bead, then cut down short wire;

Step2: Thread 1 gold bead, 1 black bead, 3 gold beads and 1 black bead to wire, thread the wire back through the first gold bead and tighten, add 2 gold beads and 1 black bead to wire, thread the wire to the 4th gold bead and tighten, continue to add 2 gold beads and 1 black bead to wire, thread the wire back to the 6th golden bead and tighten, add 2 gold beads and 1 black bead, thread the wire to the 8th gold bead and tighten; that’s one beading pattern;

Step3: Add 1 black bead, 3 gold beads and 1 black bead to wire, thread the wire back to the 8th gold bead, then according to Step2, make a same beading pattern, the two patterns are a basic beading pattern;

Step4: Repeat this basic pattern until reach ideal length, then thread a crimp bead and the other part of toggle clasp to wire, thread the wire back through the crimp bead and tighten, pinch the crimp bead and cut down extra wire;

Step5: Connect the toggle clasp, now you get this gold black beads necklace design.

For this beading pattern, you can also choose different color beads, such as golden glass bugle beads and royalblue seed beads. I believe you will amazing about your handwork, just do it!
