How to Make a Colored Wire Wrapped Dangling Earring with Acrylic Beads and Pearl Beads

Last week, I sent a pair of DIY colored wire wrapped dangling earrings with acrylic beads and pearl beads to my friend. She loved them very much. Today, I want to share the detail steps on how I make the colored earrings.

Materials needed in DIY the colored wire wrapped earrings:

10mm Light Blue Acrylic Beads
6mm Yellow Acrylic Beads
4mm Yellow Acrylic Beads
10mm Deep Purple Transparent Beads
4mm Golden Beads
8mm Dyed Red Pearl Beads
6mm Purple Pearl Beads
2mm Green Pearl Beads

How to make colored wire wrapped dangling earring

Step 1: Make the upper parts of the colored wire wrapped earring

1st, cut off a 1.5mm aluminium wire with a length of 220mm and fold it in half. Then, take a yellow acrylic bead and wrap it with the 220mm aluminium wire (see the picture above). After that, put the right side of the aluminium wire onto the left side of the aluminium wire;
2nd, take two green pearl beads and a Mashan jade bead, and then wrap them with the rest part of the aluminium wire. Keep the upper aluminium wire mentioned above still onto the other side of the aluminium wire;
3rd, wrap the nether aluminium wire helically and insert a light blue acrylic bead and a 10mm dyed red pearl bead(see the picture above).

Step 2: Make the rest parts of the colored wire wrapped earring

1st, take a purple pearl bead, a blue acrylic bead, a mashan jade bead and two yellow acrylic beads. Then, wrap them according to the picture above (You can also wrap them according to your preference.);
2nd, after finishing the wrapping, you can add an iron jump ring below the colored earring to enhance the flexibility of the earring. Weave a deep purple transparent bead with golden iron headpins (see the picture above);
3rd, the key step of making the colored wire wrapped earring is to add the golden earing hook. Before adding the earing hook, weave a 4mm golden bead above the colored earring with golden nickel free iron eyepins (see the picture above). Then, add the golden earing hook.
