3D Rhombus Earring – How to Make Golden Drop Earrings with Beads

I like 3D earrings which looks the same in all the directions. So I made the bead drop earrings like this. If you like rhombus, then you must like rhombus earring too. Materials are very simple, just buy some glass beads and seed beads from Pandahall and you can make several pairs of 3d earrings. Let’s start now!

Supplies needed in the bead drop earrings:

How to make drop earrings with beads?

Step1: Make a rhombus base

1st, take out a needle and go through clear nylon wire;
2nd, thread four 8mm glass beads and four small seed beads in the order showed in the first pic;
3rd, let the nylon wire go into them again until they reach a circle and make node.

 

Step2: Weave seed beads around the rhombus base

1st, choose one of the 8mm glass bead and start weave enough seed beads until arriving the glass bead in the opposite direction;
2nd, then weave seed beads around the 8mm glass bead the opposite direction of the first glass bead;
3rd, continuously weaving around four of them to make a clover shape as showed;
4th, when to the last glass bead, remember to enter the brass earring hook and then finish weaving the seed beads.

 

Step3: Weave beads above the glass beads

1st, place 3 seed beads and get into 1 bicone glass bead after introducing other 3 seed beads out;
2nd, then go in the opposite direction in an 8mm glass bead to make diagonal line between them;
3rd, keep weave another diagonal line between the rest 2 8mm glass beads;
4th, tie a knot on the nylon thread and cut the excess.

 

Redo the steps to make a pair of 3d earrings!
