How to Make Your Own Teardrop Hoop Earrings at Home

This pair of teardrop hoop earrings is made out of seed beads and copper wires. I use copper wire to form a teardrop frame, and decorate with white seed beads. It looks so elegant. 0.8MM Copper Wire

Instructions for making your own teardrop hoop earrings:

Step 1: Make the teardrop frame for making your own earrings

1st, cut off about 18cm 0.8mm copper wire, and bend the wire into “U” shape, then make a loop at one wire end;
2nd, close the mouth of “U” by hooking and pinching; now, the wire looks like a teardrop;

Step 2: Add beads to the teardrop hoop frame

1st, cut off about 30cm 0.3mm copper wire, and wrap it around the teardrop frame several turns far about 2cm from the top;
2nd, slide forty 4mm seed beads onto the 0.3mm copper wire, and continue to wrap the beaded wire around the frame about 5cm;
3rd, fix the end by wrapping the 0.3mm copper wire several turns and cut off the extra wire.

Step 3: Finish making your own teardrop hoop earrings

Attach an earring hook to the top loop of the frame.
