How to Make a Sunburst Gold Beaded Necklace for Autumn

To get started, you will need:

Electroplate orange drop glass beads
2mm bronze seed beads
4mm acrylic golden beads
Crimp beads
Jumprings
Lobster clasp
Tiger tail
Wire cutting plier
Flat plier

How to make a sunburst gold beaded necklace for autumn?

Step1.Cut down an 150cm (approx. 60inch)tiger tail, fold it in half, thread a crimp bead to two ends of the wire, pinch the bead where is 1cm away from the end of the wire, slide four seed beads to each wire respectively, cross both ends through a golden bead, then tighten the wire;

Step2.Thread one seed bead, one golden bead and one seed bead to each wire respectively, cross both ends through a golden bead, tighten the wire, this is the basic beading pattern;

Step3.Continue this pattern till get your desired length, here I use 154 golden beads, then add four seed beads to each wire respectively, slide a crimp bead to both ends, thread wires back to the crimp bead, pinch the crimp bead to fix the beads string, cut down extra wires. The first beads string is done;

Step4.Cut down a 80cm (31inch)tiger tail to make the second beads string, thread the wire to the first golden bead on downside, you should leave approx. 10cm(4inch) wire from the end to the golden bead, then slide seven beads to wire, they are one seed bead, one golden bead, one seed bead, one drop bead, one seed bead, one golden bead and one seed bead, thread the wire to the third golden bead on downside and tighten, this is the basic beading pattern for the second beads string;

Step5.Repeat the beading pattern, slide the seven beads to wire, then thread the wire to the fifth golden bead on downside; stop beading until the second beads string is done;

Step6.Thread the extra wire back to adjacent beads, be more patient in this step, because it is not very easy to thread the wires back, once the second string is secure, cut down the excess wire, do the same to fasten the start end of the second beads string, the basic golden beads necklace has been finished now;

Step7.Connect a jumpring and a lobster clasp to one end of the necklace, then add a jumpring to the other end of the necklace, at last, connect them together, here you will get your golden beads necklace.

The orange electroplate drop glass beads and the golden beads make this sunburst beaded necklace sparkling and outstanding, take a try and hope you enjoy the process.
