How to Make Easy Tatting Earrings Pattern for Beginners

Instruction on easy tatting patterns for beginners

Step1: Make basic tatting earrings pattern

1st, prepare an 13cm aluminum wire and wrap it into a loop, cut down an 60cm orange nylon thread, tie an overhand knot on the loop, then tie a half hitch knot to fix the thread on the loop;

2nd, continue to tie half hitch knot until done, cut down extra nylon thread and fix it by lighter, the orange tatting hoop has been finished;

3rd, cut down a 7cm aluminum wire and wrap it into a loop, make a tatting hoop with red nylon thread, do the same to make a yellow tatting hoop;


 

4th, slide a white pearl bead to a headpin, make a loop by round nose plier, do the same to make one more;

Step2: Finish tatting earrings design

1st, place the red hoop inside the orange hoop, connect them with a jumpring, add a pearl bead pendant to the jumpring; then connect the yellow hoop to the orange hoop with a jumpring, at last, link a pearl bead pendant to the center of the yellow hoop with a jumpring;

2nd, connect an earring hook to the basic tatting earring, one of the tatting earrings pattern is done, do the same to make the other tatting earring.
