In order to DIY this pair of long chain earrings, you need to do some preparation, but it is quite simple and easy. It will take you just a little time to have your own design chain drop earrings. Now, let’s begin!

8MM Drop Electroplate Glass Beads
8MM Faceted Glass Beads
Chandelier Components
Earring Hooks
Eyepins
0.5MM Copper Wire
Iron Cross Chains
Side Cutting Pliers
Round Nose Pliers
Wire Cutter Pliers
 

Instructions on making long chain earrings:

Step1: Thread an eyepin through a glass bead and make a loop at the end. Do the same with the more four glass beads and eyepins.

Step 2: Hang the five glass beads links to the chandelier component symmetrically.

Step 3: Make pendants for the long chain earrings

1st, slide an electroplate glass bead onto a wire and pull both sides of the wire up;
2nd, use your fingers to cross the wires and wrap them;
3rd, make a loop at the end, and put the extra wires into the hold of beads;
4th, do another two pendants as the same steps.

Step 4: Make long chains for the chain drop earrings

1st, cut three different lengths of iron chains as 16cm, 10cm, 4cm;
2nd, attach the pendants on the long chains, and hang the long chains onto the chandelier.

Step 5: Finish the DIY long earrings

1st, cut off a 2cm long chain;
2nd, attach the chains to the two circles of chandelier component;
3rd, put earring hooks on the middle of the chain.
