Tutorial on How to Make a Multi Strand Necklace with Agate and Pearl Beads

Materials needed in making multi strand necklace:

8mm glass pearl beads
8mm Natural Agate Beads
Drop acrylic beads
Bead cap
Jump rings
Eye pins
Lobster clasp
Chandelier Component
Wire Cutter Plier
Round Nose Plier
Flat Plier

           

Instructions on making multi strand beaded necklace:

Step1: Make bead links

1st, thread an eye pin through a glass pearl bead;
2nd, left 5~6mm from the bead at the other side of the eye pin, cut down the extra part;
3rd, make a loop by round nose plier, do the same to make another 46 glass bead links. 4th, make 18 nature agate bead links;



4th, make 18 nature agate bead links;
5th, connect six bead links by jumprings ,then hang two bead links to the center jumpring and a bead link to the jumpring between the last two beads, do the same to make the other agate bead link.


 

step2: make multi beaded necklace

1st, prepare 2 four-bead links, and 2 six-bead links by jumprings;



2nd, connect the left pearl bead links one by one, then add lobster clasp to the bead link ends, a simple beaded link necklace comes out;
3rd, attach the four-bead links to jumpring between the fourth bead and fifth bead counts from the lobster clasp and link the other end between eighth bead and ninth bead , attach the six-bead link to the jumpring between fifth bead and sixth bead left one end unlinked, do the same to the other side as the picture shows;

Step3: Attach agate bead links to the pearl necklace

1st, attach one end of agate bead link to the jumpring between the 10th and 11th pearl bead;
2nd,one dangle agate bead to the jumpring between the 12th bead and 13th pearl bead, and the other two bead dangles to the jumprings aside the 12th peal bead;
3rd, link the other end of the agate link to the jumpring between the 12th bead and 13th;
4th, repeat the above steps to attach the other agate bead link to the other side of the pearl necklace;

Step4: Make pendant for multi bead necklace

1st, silde a bead cap and a drop acrylic bead to the eye pin, make a loop and cut extra part if necessary;
2nd, use an aluminum wire to fix the chandelier component and flower pearl bead pendant, make the extra wire into the pendant so that it will not puncture your skin;
3rd, link two nature agate beads at the bottom two sides of the pendant;
4th, use a jump ring to connect the two nature agate beads and the drop acrylic.

Step5: Put the flower pearl pendant to the multi bead necklace
