Materials for making wire wrapped beaded necklace

Aluminium wire
Several meters brass wire
Glass beads
Side cutting plier

 

How to make amber beaded necklaces with wire ?

Step1: Bend the wire into a double wavy shape

1st, fold the aluminium wire in half, create a wavy necklace by using your fingers and gently, bending the wire in shape as showed below;
2nd, roll both ends of the wire up to a little spiral, the „eye“ in the front should be the biggest one. The others should slowly fade out backwards;
3rd, this is how the closing should look like, by squeezing it you can open it up.

 

Step2: Twist wire and add glass beads

1st, now take a long piece of brass wire and start twisting it around the aluminium wire as shown on the picture, repeat this step until all „eyes“ are fixed and in place;
2nd, take again a longer piece of brass wire, fold it and start twisting it around the outer aluminium wire of the „eyes“;
3rd, add the different glass beads as you desire and twist the wire a few times around the opposite side of the „eye“.

 

Add as many beads as you wish. The wire and bead necklace is finished!
