How to Make a Filigree Flower Necklace with Pearls and Glass Drop Beads

Warm season again! I plan to make a spring style necklace with filigree flower pendant. Therefore I apply bead caps, pearls and glass beads into my project. Next I will show the details about how to make a flower necklace with them.

Necessities for filigree flower necklace:

Silvery bead caps
6mm white imitated pearl acrylic beads
4mm white imitated pearl acrylic beads
4mm green seed beads opaque color
Clear glass drop beads
0.3mm tiger tail wire
0.5mm silvery copper wire
Lobster claw
Jump ring
Round nose plier
Wire cutter plier
Side cutting plier

How to make a flower necklace step by step:

Step 1: Make filigree flower pendant

1st, cut a 18cm length of copper wire, slide a 6mm pearl onto it and fold the wire;
2nd, slide onto both strands 3 bead caps from small to large;
3rd, squeeze them together and wrap the short tail around long tail several times;
4th, cut off excess short tail;
5th, thread the long tail through the edge of largest bead cap;
6th, make a wire wrapped loop with round nose plier;
7th, cut off excess long tail.

Step 2: Make beaded necklace

1st, cut a long piece of tiger tail and attach it to lobster claw by crimp one end with crimp bead;
2nd, hide the crimp bead with bead cover;
3rd, slide on the wire two 4mm white pearls and one 6mm white pearl;
4th, repeat the beading order 9 times;
5th, add glass drop beads in between 4 times;
6th, replace the 4mm white pearl with 4mm green seed beads at the center part;
7th, add filigree flower pendant;
8th, bead the other side in the symmetrical way;
9th, crimp down the other end with preserving a loop;
10th, attach a jump ring to the loop.
