Materials needed in making wire wrapped necklace with peals beads:
10mm Pearl Beads
0.8mm Copper Wire
Chains
Headpins
Jumprings
Round Nose Plier
Wire Cutter Plier
Side Cutting Plier
Instructions on making wire wrapped necklace:
Step1: Make bead dangles
1st, slide 1 bead onto the headpin, make a loop with round nose plier, then cut off the extra wire;
2nd, do the same to make another 2 bead dangles.
Step2: Wrap wires to a certain shape
1st, prepare length of 20cm copper wire, clockwise make a loop with round nose plier;
2nd, at a distance about 1cm from the first loop, make a loop with round nose plier;
3rd, do the same as 1st in step1;
4th, make a bigger loop with mandrel;
5th, repeat 1-3 in step2, then cut off the extra wire;
6th, do the same as 1-5in step2 to make another 2 ones;
7th, connect these 3 parts with jumpings.
Step3: Finish the wire wrapped necklace
1st, open the loops on the bead dangles, then hang it to the bigger loop as picture shows;
2nd, prepare a length of 20cm chain, attach the wire wrapped pendant to the chain;
3rd, cut the chains apart with side cutting plier, and then attach a lobster clasp to the chains.
Done!
