How To Make Cool Friendship Bracelet for Beginners with Half Hitch Knots

With basic half hitch knots you could make a friendship bracelet with purple threads in ombre style. The instruction part will show you details about how to make the cool friendship bracelet for beginners.

Necessities for purple ombre friendship bracelet:

1mm aqua nylon thread
1mm violet nylon thread
1mm purple nylon thread
Bronze ribbon end
Bronze Lobster claw
Bronze jump rings
Scissors
Lighter

How to make cool friendship bracelet for beginners:

Step 1: Braid bracelet with half hitch knots

1st, cut 8 pieces of 70cm nylon threads, 4 for aqua color, 3 for violet and 3 for purple;
2nd, knot them together and separate them into 3 groups by color;
3rd, do backward knot around aqua first with aqua second, and tighten the knot;
4th, do another one around aqua second with aqua third;
5th, similarly handle the aqua fourth;
6th, do backward-forward knot around aqua fourth with violet first;
7th, do backward knot around violet first with violet second, and similarly handle the violet third;
8th, repeat from 6th and 7th to handle the rest purple threads;
9th, so the first row is done.

Step 2: Finish the braiding part

1st, repeat step 1 and braid the bracelet as long as you desire;
2nd, cut off excess threads and melt ends with lighter;
3rd, add ribbon end and crimp it down;
4th, untie the first knot you tied in step 1;
5th, similarly handle it with a ribbon end.

Step 3: Add clasp onto bracelet

1st, connect 3 jump rings together;
2nd, attach them onto one ribbon end and add lobster claw;
3rd, attach another jump ring onto the other ribbon end.
