Tutorial on Making Heart-Shaped Earrings with Wires and Glass Beads

Supplies needed in making wire heart earrings:

6mm Glass Bead
2mm Aluminum Wire
0.5mm Copper Wire 
1.6mm Headpin
6mm Bead Cap
Iron Earring Hooks
Side Cutting Pliers
Round Nose Pliers
Wire Cutter Pliers

Instructions on making wire wrapped heart dangle earrings:

Step1: Make the embellishments of the heart wire earrings

1st, prepare 4 length of 5cm, 4 length of 3cm, 2 length of 2.5cm aluminum wire;
2nd, rotate 5cm wire inside with round nose plier to form a loop at one end, rotate the other end outside to make a loop which is smaller than the first one, thus half heart is done;


3rd, as for the 3cm wire,with round nose plier to form a “ear” shape;


4th, as for the 2.5cm wire, with round nose plier to form a small heart shape;


All together we need 4 half-heart shape,4 “ear” shape,2 small heart components.

Step2: Connect the embellishments together

1st, prepare length of 15cm copper wire, string “ear” shape component onto the half-heart shape about 3 or 4 wraps;
2nd, attach the small heart-shaped component to the half-heart shape;
3rd, connect the 2 half-heart shape together;
4th, bind the small heart-shape and the right half-heart shape together;
5th, attach another small heart-shaped component to the half-heart shape;
6th, bind the 2 half-heart shape ends together, a completed heart dangle comes out.

Step3: Make hanging pendants

1st, slide bead caps and glass beads onto the headpin, make a loop with round nose plier to finish the long dangle.Repeat to make another 3 long dangles;


2nd, do the same to make two short dangles.

Step4: Finish the earrings

1st, hang the dangles to the earring body;


2nd, open the small circle on the earring hooks with side cutting pliers, and then attaches earring hooks to the joint of the 2 half-heart shape component；
