How to Make XOXO Pearl Beaded Drop Earrings for Bridal Party

Why I put unfinsihed pearl beaded earrings pattern here? To leave you more choices: make them into key chains, or pendant necklace. I submit this tutorial to encourage you DIY instead of buying jewerly. Let’s see how I made the bridal party earrings!

Supplies needed for making pearl beaded earrings:

8mm Blue Glass Pearl Beads
8mm White Glass Pearl Beads
6mm Glass Bicone Beads
Nylon thread
Small Seed beads
Bigger Seed beads
2 Needles
A pair of scissors
6mm Faceted Rondelles

 

Instructions on how to make pearl drop earrings:

Step1: Make the bottom part of the earring pendant

1st, divide your thread in 2 equal parts and put on each side a needle on the outside of the thread;
2nd, add to your right needle 1 small seedbead, 1 rondelle and 1 white 8mm glass pearl;
3rd, go with your left needle through the rondelle and the 8mm glass bead in the same direction;
4th, go with both needles through a small seed bead in the same direction;
5th, add on each needle 3 small seed beads and cross both of your needles through a rondelle bead;
6th, now add on each needle a small seed bead and a bicone and cross in the blue 8mm glass pearl.

 

Step2: Add a blue pearl and stitch beads around it

1st, now add to each needle a bicone and a small seed bead and cross through a rondelle;
2nd, with your left needle (coming out of the right side of the rondelle) , go through the seed bead and the bicone on the right side of your project, add a big seed bead and go through the bicone and seed bead on the bottom of your project.
3rd, repeat the above step (2nd of Step2) on the left side of your project and cross your both needles through the 8mm glass pearl;
4th, go with your needle through the seed bead between the rondelle and the bicone and add 3 small seed beads, 1 big seed bead and 4 small seed beads
5th, now go through the big seed bead you have added in 2nd of Step2 on the opposite side of where you are coming from.

 

Step3: Shape the middle part of the earring pendant

1st, turn your project around and now you are still coming from the big seed bead between 2 becone beads;
2nd, add 4 small seed beads, 1 big seed beads and 3 small seed beads to your needle and go through the small seed bead (on the top of your project) between the rondelle and the bicone bead;
3rd, now turn your project around and take your other needle. Go through the small seed bead between the rondelle and the bicone bead and add 3 small seed beads;
4th, now go through the middle big seed bead added in 4th of Step 2 , add 4 small seed beads to your needle and go through the big seed bead between the 2 bicone beads on the opposite side of your project;
5th, turn your project around. Now your thread is coming from the big seed bead between the 2 bicone beads in the middle of your project;
6th, add 4 small sead beads, go through the big seed bead added in 2nd of Step3 , add 3 small seed beads and go through the small seed bead between the rondelle and bicone bead on the top of your project.

 

Step4: Finish the whole earring pendants

1st, turn your project around, now choose one side of your project and add 3 small seed beads, 1 big seed bead and 4 small seed beads and go through the big seed bead between the two bicone beads on the opposite side of your project;
2nd, take the other side and again add 3 small seed beads, go through the big seed bead from the above step ( 1st of Step4 ), add 4 small sead beads and go through the big seed bead between the two bicone beads on the opposite side of your project;
3rd, turn your project around and again add 4 small seed beads, go through the big seed bead previously added, add 3 small seed beads and go through the small seed bead between the rondelle and the bicone bead on the bottom of your project;
4th, now your xoxo is ready on both sides of your project. With our needles we now have to go to the top of the project for reinforcement and to add a loop;
5th, cross both needles in the rondelle on the top of your pendant and add to one of the needles 9 small seedbeads, go with this needle again through the rondelle in the same direction and in this manner create a loop;
6th, try to weave the project some time to reinforce it and make multiple knots of the 2 threads on multiple places in your pendant.

 

Repeat all the steps to make a pair and add hooks to make pearl beaded earrings. Done!
