How to Make a Micro Macramé Bracelet with Beads for Small Wrist

Square knot tying, I believe, has been mastered by most of jewelry crafters. If you do not know, please link to square knot tutorial, which will show you the details of the technique. Based on it, today we are going to make a macramé bracelet with beads and leather cord.

Necessities for the beaded macramé bracelet:

1mm brown leather cord
6mm flowery Tibetan style beads
Brown suede cord
Bronze shank button
Brown sewing cord
Needle
Scissors
Glue gun
Lighter

How to make a macramé bracelet with beads and cords:

Step 1: Sew beads onto suede cord

1st, cut a 25cm length of suede cord;
2nd, leave a short tail at one end and sew flowery beads along the suede cord;
3rd, sew 12-18 beads onto cord and make sure each pair of beads has 3mm interval in between;
4th, at the other end sew the button on.

Step 2: Make a loop before braiding

1st, cut a 90cm length of leather cord and fold it in half;
2nd, leave a 1.5cm loop and ties an overhand knot beneath;
3rd, reserve another 2cm and tie a double connection knot;
4th, thread above suede cord through before ending the knot;
5th, hot glue the knot, trim off excess suede cord and melt end with lighter.

Step 3: Braid square knot macramé

1st, start braiding square knots between the beads;
2nd, braid along the cord and down to the last bead.

Step 4: add button to finish off the bracelet

1st, thread leather cords through button hole;
2nd, tie overhand knot and trim off excess cords.
