37mm ivory satin ribbon
22mm pink satin ribbon
Pink sewing thread
Hair tie
Needle
Scissors

How to make a simple hair bow out of ribbon:

Step 1: Prepare ivory satin ribbon

1st, cut a 24cm length of ivory satin ribbon;
2nd, fold both ends to the middle line;
3rd, stitch up the ends and form the ivory ribbon circle;
4th, flatten the circle with hand.

Step 2: Make hair bow with pink ribbon

1st, wrap “8” shape with pink ribbon around the top half of the ivory circle;
2nd, sew the overlapped parts;
3rd, trim off excess ribbon;
4th, melt end with lighter;
5th, do basting stitches along the middle line of the ribbon bow;
6th, pull the sewing thread and the creases are formed;
7th, wrap sewing thread several times around the center.

Step 3: Finish the center of hair bow

1st, hot glue hair tie onto the back side of the hair bow;
2nd, cut a piece of ivory ribbon and fold it twice at the width;
3rd, tie an overhand knot around the center;
4th, glue two ends of the ribbon and trim off excess lengths.
